Android Smartphones are taking the market by a stride, it seems! There were quite a few Android announcements at the IFA trade fair and so here we bring forth the list of some of the best upcoming Android Smartphones in India.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is not typically a smartphone, rather a new category of the device called “phablet.” The company has already started taking the pre-orders of the device at its official e-store. Reportedly, the evice will be available somewhere in the first week of October. In India, the launch event will take place on 27th September, 2012. The device comes with Jelly Bean version, 5.5” Super AMOLED HD display, 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.6 GHz quad core processor and 3100 mAh battery. Details about its price are still missing.

HTC Desire X

Though we cannot call it a super-phone but it is a pretty well mid-range Android Smartphone. The exact date of HTC Desire X launch is not clear as of now, but it may arrive any time in India. The smartphones comes with 4” Super LCD WVGA display, dual-core 1 GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, 5MP rear camera, 768 MB RAM as well as 1600 mAh battery. The price of HTC Desire X is expected to be somewhere around Rs. 21,000.

LG Optimus L9

LG Optimus L9 is yet another mid-range Smartphone which can make a debut in India soon. In India, we have L3, L5 and L7 already. LG packs some of the fantastic applications in Smartphone and these include QTranslator, QMemo and My Style Keypad. LG Optimus L9 comes packed with 4.7” IPS Display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 1GB RAM as well as 2150 mAh SiO+ battery. No details about the price of LG Optimus L9 are available yet.

Sony Xperia J

Sony Xperia J is a budget Smartphone that can come in the country any time now. The device features excellent design and is packed with 4” display, 1GHz Qualcomm Processor, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, Android 4.0 software as well as 512 MB RAM. No details about the price are available as of now.

LG Optimus G

LG Optimus G is a fantastic Smartphone that was displayed on the podium at IFA. It comes packed with great hardware as well as ICS. To bring something exceptional in the phone, the company partners with subsidiaries to involve some of the cool techs in the device. LG Optimus G comes with a battery that has a lifespan of 800 cycles. The device might follow the footsteps of LG Optimus 4X HD as far as the pricing is concerned.
