‘Faltu’: Movie Review

Director: Remo D’Souza

Cast: Jackky Bhagnani, Riteish Deshmukh, Puja Gupta, Angad Bedi and Arshad Warsi

The famous choreographer Remo D’Souza has made a debut in the bollywood movies as a director with his comedy flick ‘Faltu’. The movie can be seen as an entertainer. It is a story about four friends, three of who are ‘Faltu’ (useless). The main actor in the movie is Jackky Bhagnani ‘Ritesh’ who carries the story till the end.

Nevertheless, the movie is featherweight but there are certain loopholes in the entire story. Movie is good but in parts, good for the debut director! Though the plot of the movie is somewhat similar to 3 Idiots, but it is more inspired from a Hollywood flick ‘Accepted’ of Justin Long.

Though the first half of the movie is a doltish comedy but the second half of the movie becomes more serious which annoys the viewers.

There are certain flaws in the movie but it is appealing for its music which has become a hit. The song ‘4 Bajj gaye lekin party abhi baaki hai’ has become a special charm among the youngsters.

The lead actor Jackky and actress Puja have made a quite colorful performance on screen. They have remained consistent throughout the movie.

‘Faltu’ would be a complete entertaining package for you if you are someone who enjoys a fun movie. This can be your share of cake if you are looking for a light comedy flick to enjoy with your friends. It can be a complete entertainer for you and the music, as we said earlier can be the best part for you.
