CBSE Class 12th Result Declared, Out Now

CBSE or the Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the 12th class result for 2013 now. The results are available on the official websites and The candidates can check their results at these sites or can visit their schools to get the results.

The CBSE 12th class examinations were held in March 2013 at different exam centers all across the country. Above 10 lakh candidates appeared for the examinations to get admissions in reputed colleges for further studies.

CBSE conducts board examinations for class 10th and 12th each year under common curriculum wherein students from all affiliated schools appear. This year too, a number of students appeared in the exams under the supervision of invigilators of the board. This year, the results assume high significance for the students who wish to get into IITs and others because weightage is provided to their Class 12th performance. More than 82% cleared the class 12th CBSE exam this year and girls outshined the boys yet again. Even Chennai beat other regions in overall passing percentage.

The result was declared all across the nation today with total passing percentage at 82.10 percent, with an increase of approximately 2 percent from last year. In other words, 9,44,721 students actually registered for the examination and this was also a raise of around 15.81% than the previous year.

Girls again continued to be better than the boys as they got 87.98 percent clearing exams weightage than the boys who just had 77.78 percent. To know the CBSE results 12th class, students need to enter their roll numbers and get the result. One can even take out provisional mark sheet printout because the original mark sheet will be available from the school; in a month’s time or so.
