DDA housing scheme 2010 offering a ‘house for all’

With the DDA housing scheme 2010, every person would find the dream to own a house as true. The newly introduced flexible housing option has allowed even a ‘poor man’ to dream for his ‘own house’.

The scheme has brought 16,000 flats with one, two and three bed room areas together with Janta one room areas, accompanied with expandable facilities.

What is new about the scheme? Well, the good news is packed for the people living in the areas of Shivaji Enclave, Narela and Trilokpuri because the government has decided to allocate the flats in these areas too and that too for the first time.

Indian citizens above 18 years of age, not owing a property, in either his/partner’s name, in Delhi, New Delhi or Delhi cantonment areas are eligible to apply for this scheme. In case of both the partners applying for the scheme, only one of two would be given an opportunity.

Only one form for the application can be submitted and there is no income criteria related to it. People can apply with a PAN card or a copy of bank account. The registration amount is around 1.5 lakhs but for Janta one room and ORT category, the amount is reduced.
