India vs. NZ 1st Test Series:-Sehwag’s Ton Gives India Strong Lead

With Virender Sehwag’s exploding batting order and Rahul Dravid’s defensive stroke, India, in the first test series against New Zeeland, has made a domineering score of 243 for the loss of 1 wicket at tea interval.

Virender Sehwag smashed unbeaten 152 off 172 balls in which he hit 22 boundaries and one six. At the other end, Rahul Dravid played defensive stroke and at the tea interval, he had 61 off 162 balls in his credit. India’s total score went up to 243/1 at the end of 61 overs.

 The twosome locked in sustained partnership of 183 runs off 300 balls for the second wicket.

One wicket that India lost was Gautam Gambhir who was bowled out by Chris Martin.

As it appeared to be his mistake, Gambhir inside-edged the delivery made from Chris Martin allowing the ball makes it way to his stumps.

He made 21 runs off 41 deliveries.

Virender Sehwag with his awesome batting really stole the show in this first test match series between India and New Zeeland at Ahmadabad’s Sardar Patel Stadium.

His unbeaten ton is the gift for nation ahead of Diwali festival.

Maverick Sehwag at his aggressive best sent the balls to all across the boundaries. He seemed totally unfazed by Kiwi’s bowler’s deliveries and slammed three boundaries of Chris Martin.

Before the lunch break, the aggressive batsman had unbeaten 150 to his credit.
