Lenovo has considered the power capability of the new ThinkPad laptops in high regard and the battery power has also been augmented by Intel’s Turbo Boost 2.0 chip feature. This feature allows you to save power by automatically shutting down inactive CPU cores.

All the refurbished versions of Lenovo ThinkPad T, L and W series laptops come packed with dual-array microphones and keyboard noise reduction features. A few new Lenovo ThinkPads also sport Intel’s Core vPro platform for better management and security for IT managers. This Intel’s anti-theft technology facilitates IT managers to remotely immobilize stolen or lost laptops over wired, Wi-Fi or 3G networks. The laptop can then be reactivated via code provided by the IT department.

Another good feature is the presence of GPS capability in the anti-theft feature which facilitates tracking of laptops and establishment of boundaries which keep the laptop in certain limitations.
