Nokia C1 (C1-00) Review & Price : First Dual Sim Nokia Mobile

With the advent of growing need for dual SIM mobiles and its increasing demand by Nokia users, Nokia has launched Nokia C 100 ( Nokia C1) in India on 30 August, 2010. Its main feature is it has one handset running two SIM cards simultaneously. But you cannot use two SIM cards together; you need to hold a key while switching between two SIM cards.

This phone will cost around 30 Euro or Rs. 2000 and will be available in market in third quarter of this year. The main features of this phone are Switchable Dual GSM SIM, FM radio 3.5mm audio jack, with MP3 ringtones, flashlight, 1.8? color screen display, battery life of 13 hours talk time and battery back up till 6 weeks.

It mainly target the people carry two different phones to get advantage of making cheaper calls on two different networks that their friends have. So it provides affordability and convenience feature to them. Finland-based Nokia did this because it new competitors like Miramax, Spice, etc are offering various features at low prices. So to cater need of these customers it is loosing to them, it had launched balanced features at affordable prices to sustain and retain it market share.

It’s a good choice for those who want a Dual SIM phone with durability and brand name of Nokia.
