SSLC Results 2012: A Surprise Element This Year!

The SSLC results 2012 or the Kerala Secondary School Leaving certificate results 2012 have been announced, introducing a surprise element this time by recording the all-time higher pass rate. In this year’s exam, around 4, 69,919 students appeared, out of which 6995 students surpassed expectations by receiving A+ grades in all the subjects. Also, the highest percentage this time has been recorded as 93.64%.

The SSLC results 2012 were declared at 11 A.M. on April 26. The highest passing rate in the SSLC examinations has been recorded from the Kannur revenue district. The lowest percentage of pass students was observed in Palakkad education district. Kozhikode produced students with the maximum A grade scores. Around 711 schools in Kerala registered cent percent passing rate, which is far better from what was seen last year.

Students, who were unable to appear for SSLC examinations because of whatever reasons, can appear at the supplementary examinations which are basically meant for students who did not manage to pass the exams. The Education Department will receive the certificates for the students soon, after which these may be distributed to the students, most probably by May 15.

The SSLC examination is given by the students and a public examination needs to be passed for that. This exam has been formed by the regional board and not by school faculty members. The SSLC results 2012 are primary factors which determine the choice of students in taking admission to the higher secondary schools. These results determine their choice and preference of the higher secondary schools.

The acceptance to the best higher secondary schools is determined by acceptance depending upon SSLC results 2012. It has also been seen that for the very first time, SSLC results have been announced so early, just within one month of the examination. Also, the passing percentage saw an all-time rise, which is definitely a very good sign.

SSLC results 2012 have drastically surpised everyone, also the students. While the passing percentage is higher this year, it can only be seen as a very good sign because it shows an increased improvement in the education sector in a state that is already very well known for its best literacy rate.
